Support Stabilization, Transition, and Safe Placement for Cats in Crisis

Your donation helps Cats in the City Rescue provide structured care for cats who need more than ordinary intake: stabilization, medical-aware support, grooming intervention, behavioral observation, temporary housing, and thoughtful placement through FELINE TRANSITIONS®.

We do not simply move cats quickly. We stabilize the system around the cat so the next placement has a better chance of lasting.

Why donations matter

Rescue Work Does Not Begin at Adoption

For many cats, the most important work happens before they are ready to be listed, introduced, or placed.

Some cats need decompression. Some need medication support. Some need grooming before they can move comfortably. Some need time away from household stress. Some need careful observation before anyone can understand what kind of home will actually fit.

Your donation supports that hidden middle space: the stabilization period where a cat becomes safer, clearer, more comfortable, and more placeable.

FELINE TRANSITIONS®

Help Fund a More Durable Kind of Rescue

Cats in the City Rescue is building a structured feline transition model for cats and guardians in the space between crisis and surrender.

Your gift helps us keep doing the slower, more individualized work that high-needs cats often require: stabilization first, placement second, durability always.
