Tazman

An affectionate cat rebuilding confidence

Tazman is an affectionate, emotionally sensitive, and energetic domestic shorthair tabby, possibly with Bengal heritage, estimated to be around 5 years old. He loves to cuddle, play, and receive attention.

After living outdoors for several years without the consistent care he needed, Tazman arrived with flea dermatitis, hair loss, intestinal parasites, and a need to regain weight. Cat Alliance Team Sanctuary took him in and provided the intervention and care that began his recovery. His fur has started growing back, and he is gaining weight.

Learning what helps him thrive

In our care, Tazman can receive the individual attention he needs to become more confident and less anxious. We are learning what triggers, stimulates, and overstimulates him; identifying his likes; and creating the routine and familiarity that help him feel more secure and in control of his emotions.

Tazman has been through a great deal. He clearly wants love and connection and is still learning how to receive both with confidence. Feline Transitions is continuing to understand him, coordinate the medical support he needs, and identify the home environment in which he can thrive.
