Sasha

The cat beyond the checklist

Meet Sasha as the care team does

A cat who loves being part of everyday life

Sasha is a 2–3 year old tabby who loves being part of the fabric of her surroundings. She is social, playful, gentle, curious, and easygoing. She has an adorable purr, gives a wonderfully strong head butt when she wants some love, and is rarely too far away from her humans.

Sasha came to us from the Cat Alliance Team Sanctuary, where she lived alongside other cats and had a team of loving, devoted caregivers. She has been well loved and cared for, and that shows in her comfort with both cats and people.

But Sasha is an especially people-oriented cat and deserves the experience of having a home where she can fully become part of the fabric of family life. A place where she can follow her humans freely from room to room, curl up nearby or on their lap while they relax, greet them when they come home, climb into bed with them at night, and offer one of those enthusiastic head butts whenever the mood strikes. Sasha doesn’t need to be the center of everything—she just really likes being part of it.

The right home for Sasha

Because of her experience living with other cats, Sasha could be a wonderful addition to a home with another feline companion. She would also be perfectly happy as a single cat because she enjoys human companionship so much. Given her relaxed and adaptable nature, we think she could likely live comfortably with a respectful, cat-friendly dog as well.

Health and urinary care

Sasha is an indoor cat who is healthy, active, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccines, and has a great appetite.

When Sasha was younger, she developed a urinary tract infection that caused struvite crystals to form in her urine. This was associated with the infection and is different from having chronic or idiopathic urinary crystals, which Sasha does not have. Her veterinarian recommends that she remain on a prescription urinary diet out of an abundance of caution. Her most recent veterinary examination and urinalysis confirmed that her urine is clear with no deposits present.

A delightful companion

Mostly, Sasha is simply a delightful young cat who is ready for a home of her own. She has an easy way about her, loves companionship, and seems to find genuine pleasure in simply sharing space and everyday life with the people around her.

If you’re looking for a gentle, playful, affectionate cat with a sweet purr, a serious head butt, and a habit of never being too far away, Sasha may be your new best friend.

Ready for Adoption

Could your life be the life that fits Sasha?

The goal is not simply to place Sasha. The goal is a durable relationship in which the care structure and the cat’s specialness can both be fully seen.
