Jelly and Muffin
The cat beyond the checklist
Meet Jelly and Muffin as the care team does
Some cats simply belong together
Jelly and Muffin are one of those pairs. They curl up together, play together, follow each other through the day, and seem happiest when they are side by side. There is something wonderfully tender about the way they choose each other again and again.
They are just as lovely with their humans—curious, affectionate, playful, and social once they settle in. Together, they have a way of making a room feel warmer and lighter.
Meet Jelly
Jelly is an almost 4-year-old male black domestic shorthair. He is social and affectionate once comfortable, enjoys playtime, and is equally happy lounging nearby. He is food-motivated and will benefit from a thoughtful weight-management routine.
Meet Muffin
Muffin is approximately 1 year old. He is gentle, respectful, and loving. He can be reserved and shy at first, but his affectionate nature emerges as he becomes comfortable and learns that he is safe.
A home together
Jelly and Muffin are a bonded pair and will be placed together. Their ideal family will give them time to settle, plenty of companionship and play, and the joy of continuing the close relationship they already share.
Jelly and Muffin are coming soon through Cats in the City Rescue | Feline Transitions.
Preparing for Placement
Could your life be the life that fits Jelly and Muffin?
The goal is not simply to place Jelly and Muffin. The goal is a durable relationship in which the care structure and the cat’s specialness can both be fully seen.
