professional cat sitting

Your cat doesn’t need to leave home just because you do

Bringing our high standard of care into your home

Leaving home is stressful for many cats. But some cats dislike a quiet and empty house as much as they dread staying away from home at a kennel.

When you need to leave home, cat sitting offers the best of both worlds: Cats can stay in the comfort of their own home but still enjoy human companionship in the form of regular visits from the professional animal staff at Cats in the City.

Cats in the City doesn’t dabble in cat care. We specialize. Our pet sitting staff includes an animal behaviorist, an expert cat groomer, and animal handlers. We’re committed to a high standard, which we’ll bring into your home with every visit.

Cats in the City is fully bonded and insured.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM EVERY VISIT

HAPPY CAT

On each standard visit, a Cats in the City professional will provide food and water for your cat(s), medicate as directed (oral medication, topical cream, injection, subcutaneous fluid), clean the litter box, clean up any pet-related messes and provide plenty of love and playtime for your cat.

SAFE HOME

At no extra charge, the Cats in the City team will also make sure your home receives the same level of care as your cat. We’ll bring in the mail and newspaper, water the plants, rotate lights, check locks and security systems, take the trash can to the curb and back again and perform other reasonable duties (but please don’t ask us to clean your windows).

PEACE OF MIND

You can travel with less stress knowing your cat and your home are being cared for by professionals. You can return home knowing you won’t face the stench of a messy litter box or a grumpy cat.
